Jackson Consulting Engineers Brand Design

Jackson Consulting Engineers offers a comprehensive range of civil engineering services from planning, drainage, highways and external works like concrete paving designs.

I was commissioned and collaborated closely with the client to design their bespoke logo.

The final design represents the company’s services. For the logo, the idea was to incorporate an abstract icon that forms the letter “J” from Jackson Consultant Engineers, while also resembling engineering and cable-related elements based on structure and colours.

A secondary logo icon was later introduced to streamline the brand identity, making it more adaptable for use across merchandise and social media.

Brand colours & fonts

The colour palette was thoughtfully developed to align with the company’s core services, drawing inspiration from the colours of electrical wiring to represent their work in cable installation. Complementing this, the Eurocine font family was selected for its bold, geometric structure, making it particularly appropriate for the civil engineering sector.

Logo Process

Before final sign-off, I produced several initial logo concepts. The final design selected reflects the nature of the business related to Civil Engineering services.

The rejected concepts leaned more towards architectural and other services, which were less aligned with the company’s core identity.
